Love coming here! I’m originally from Palatine, and most Mexican restaurants here in Round Lake suck. Tacos el Norte is great. Affordable and delicious. My family and I love coming here. Service is always great as well. Our favorites are La mojarra frita, fajitas, alambre, tacos de lengua, French fries lomo en chile de arbol, and tacos de cecina.

We ordered carryout and it was not a great experience, that being said we decided to try it again based off of several recommendations. We are so glad we did. Food was amazing. Waitresses were on top of refills. Great atmosphere, only downside is you have to pay for chips and salsa but they were really good so I guess it balances out in the end.

Just went there. Best Mexican food place in town! Authentic. Great prices. Lovely atmosphere. Kind staff. Tons of private seating. Clean. What more could you ask for? My steak burrito was ..... and tastes really good! Look, they have a bunch of lovely little details. White boards, chalk boards, TV, cameras, hand painted walls.

The food is always top- notch here! Service on par as well. Love the homemade Sangria, guacamole, tacos, and the combo platter with asada and chili rellenos was delish!

First time going here and I had a great experience. The waitress was very nice and helpful with the menu. The food was very good and all of our food and drinks came out quickly and were very good. I would recommend coming here for dinner. The portions are very good too and I even had leftovers for the next day.
